‘Imagination became reality’ for mechanic who used former ZIP code as lottery numbers

Man bought a $1 Pick 5 ticket at a laundromat in Riverdale , Maryland .

He used his childhood home’s ZIP code, 20783 , as the number combination.

He had no idea the ticket held a $ 50,000 prize.

The lucky winner plans to pay bills with the winnings, share the rest with family and frequent “his lucky laundryromat,” officials say.
