Finns vote for a new president who will guide policy for the new NATO member and neighbor of Russia

Finnish voters are choosing between two experienced voters to be their next president.

Alexander Stubb , 55 , and Pekka Haavisto , 65 , largely agree on Finland ’s foreign policy priorities.

Finland shares a 1,340-kilometer ( 832-mile ) border with Russia .

The winner will succeed highly popular President Sauli Niinistö whose second six-year term expires in March .
