Mutant wolves exposed to Chernobyl disaster evolved a new superpower

A team of researchers found that the Chernobyl n the Chernobyl Evacuation Zone (CEZ) have genetically altered immune systems that show a resilience to cancer.

Researchers examined the Chernobyl Evacuation Zone en CEZ e DNA of mutated wolves in the 1,000-square-mile radius of the CEZ and those outside it.

They found the mutant wolves' immune systems were altered to more closely resemble those of cancer patients undergoing radiation.
