Tackling gender gaps in the Italian labour market: Evidence and policy implications

Italy has one of the lowest female labour-force participation rates and the lowest employment rate.

It also has the highest share of involuntary part-time employment among women.

As a result, Italy holds large potential for economic growth by including more women in the labour market.
