'A Million Miles Away' director and astronaut José Hernández reveal cameo in new film from Amazon

"A Million Miles Away" stars Michael Peña as former NASA astronaut José Hernández .

The new film is based on the life story of a migrant farmworker who went from being a farmworker to flying in space.

"I'm tickled that we have this film out now, because it's a really good way to motivate folks," he said.

There are some liberties taken with what the film depicts and what actually transpired.

Hernández: "I think this film is more about Earth than it is about space" He says his wife did not cook for the cast and crew of " A Million Miles Away" She says she did not, however, Alejandra did come over to our house and she did have an opportunity to eat dinner.
