The idea for the movie did not originate with David Mamet , but director and producer Cameron Van Hoy , who started in the industry as a teen.

David Mamet said he was asked to write a movie about Hunter Biden .

But director David Van Hoy says that’s not the film they wound up making.

Haze starred in Sound of Freedom , which explored a sex-trafficking rescue mission in Colombia .
