Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) is set to start on November 5 .
It aims to find evidence of primordial black holes, one of the primary candidates for dark matter.
Researchers at Durham University and the University of New Mexico looked at the difficulties the LSST will have in finding those enigmatic objects.
The researchers tested a series of filters on simulated LSST data to judge whether or not those filters could maintain that false positive rate.
