'Traumatized': Management did not handle dead tenant properly, say Boardwalk residents

64% Informative
Residents of Boardwalk property in southeast Calgary say a stench in a hallway was from a dead tenant in their apartment.
Christine Fearon , who lives on the fifth floor of 8208 Flint Rd. S.E. , said she first noticed a smell lurking in her apartment at the beginning of April .
The smell grew stronger over the next few weeks until by the end of May , it was no longer bearable.
Management did not post a notice to building residents about the dead body and that they would be bringing in a contractor to address the apartment.
Management offered temporary relocation, long-term housing options at other buildings and/or early termination of the lease without cost.
Management offered to relocate Fearon , her partner and her brother.
Fearon said she hasn't received any communication from management checking in about her mental state or emotional wellness.
