Wild police video shows dramatic arrests of shooting suspects in Durham

Durham Regional Police’s Air1 helicopter was deployed on Tuesday around 4 p.m. as officers responded to the area of Thickson Rd . N. and Taunton Rd . E. Durham police say two suspects in a shooting in East York were in the area.

Air1 conducted an aerial search of the area and found the suspect vehicle in a driveway of a residence in Whitby .

Officers also allegedly located a firearm and a quantity of drugs.

Owen Bayi Makouangou , 22 , of Oshawa , is charged with discharging a firearm with intent, possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) Guy-Christophe Bangoura , 26 , of Toronto .
