Gordon Orr is the new CEO of Invest WindsorEssex and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island.
Orr was put forward by the interim-chief operating officer Keith Andrews , who was also charged with overseeing the creation of a new strategic plan to be finished within the next week or two .
Essex County Warden Hilda MacDonald says the feedback from the seven county municipalities about Orr taking over the local economic development agency is positive.
