Japanese firm Metaplanet overtakes Tesla Holdings in Bitcoin holdings

Japanese public-listed firm Metaplanet (MTPLF ) has recently overtaken Elon Musk’s Tesla Holdings by purchasing another 1234 Bitcoins from the open market.
In two weeks , Metaplanet overtook Coinbase , Block Inc , Hut 8, and Tesla in Bitcoin holdings.
The Japanese firm now holds 12,345 BTC at an average purchase price of $ 97,036 .
This aggressive BTC purchase comes a day after the firm announced a $5 billion fundraise for its US subsidiary.
