Dominique Thorne is taking over from Robert Downey Jr. as Riri Williams , also known as Ironheart , in Marvel ’s new series Ironheart.
Downey, who has retired as Iron Man/ Tony Stark , crashed an interview Thorne was doing live on Good Morning America to congratulate her on her new role.
The six -episode Disney+ series debuted this week .
