Newlywed bride's honeymoon ends with months of ICE detention and the prospect of deportation

Her family is from Gaza , but she was issued a deportation order more than a decade ago .
She was allowed to stay under an "order of supervision" that allowed her to regularly check in with federal immigration authorities.
She has been detained for months in several immigration detention centers.
Ward Sakeik was arrested in February after traveling to the U.S. Virgin Islands .
She says she was told she could travel to the islands with valid travel documents, husband says.
DHS initially told ABC News she "left the country" when she traveled over international waters.
DHS says she overstayed her visa and has had a final order by an immigration judge for over a decade .
Her application is pending. Referring to his wife's family, Shaikh said, "They don't want to live like this. My wife has tried every route to adjust her status.".
